The restrictions and rules on outdoor activities require distance and restraint, but we don’t have to sit still. We focus on training and rope-solo lead climbing.

Bernhard, Richard’s brother, hurts himself and has to go to hospital. Further restrictions due to the corona virus augur badly and finally we have to leave.

After our unscheduled departure from the Dolomites we find ourselves in the valley of Vals. However, this place also offers a lot of adventure and most importantly we are all alone, far away from the next village.

After a rest day we head on to the Badia Valley. Although we have planned to stay longer, the rapid spread of the corona virus puts a damper on our plans.

After a break of several months in Fuschl am See we are finally setting off again. This time we meet Richard for ice climbing and ski mountaineering in South Tyrol.
